Barcelona!

Barcelona is the BEST  team in the world.  Why, you ask(or, why you should punch me in the face)?  Because it has the most international team you will find.  Think about it.  Arsenal: mostly Frenchman, so they play with a French style.  Manchester United: almost all Englishmen.  Chelsea: pretty diverse line-up, but lack the sense of calmness in their game.  Barcelona: very diverse line-up, always calm with the ball.  They play with all different styles.  Also, when's the last time you've seen an Argentine play alongside a Cameroonian.

   Now you can punch me.

What happened to Argentina?

I remember when Argentina was considered the best team in the world. They played okay in the 2006 world cup, and they played excellently in the 2008 Olympics. But in 2009...well, lets go on the past.

  1. They lost 6-1 to...BOLIVIA!!!!!!!!!!!!(and some of them(think Barcelona)were complaining they lost due to the high altitude in La Paz)
  2. They lost 3-1 to ECUADOR!
  3. They aren't in the top 3 in the South American World Cup qualifying!!

Isn't that enough already?Ar-gen-tina!Arg-en-tina!Argentina!!!!!!!!!!

All about Lionel Messi

Lionel Andres "leo" Messi, born 24 of June, 1987, is an Argentine of Italian descent who plays currently for FC Barcelona and the Argentine national team. Messi is considered one of the best soccer players of his time because of his speed, endurance, agility, and eye for goal.

Messi started playing soccer at a very young age. In 2000, he transfered from Argentina's Newell's Old Boys to Barcelona and his family moved to Europe. He made his debut in the 2004-2005 season, and also made a la liga record for the youngest soccer player to play a league game, and also the youngest player in la liga to score a goal. In the 2006-2007 season, Messi had a breakthrough and quickly became part of the lineup. Also, he scored a hat trick in El classico, winning him many fans. In that same season, he scored 14 league goals in 26 games.

That is why so many people believe that Messi is the BEST.

The best in the west.

I'm sure that all of you reading this probably saw the US national team play Brazil. They had an outstanding performance in the first half, scoring 2 goals in 27 minutes. There were two reasons why they played better than Brazil in the first half.

1.The Brazilian defense wasnt in their best shape(trust me,I know because I am a big supporter of Brazil).

2.Donovan, Dempsey, Onyewu, and Howard.

They were the reason why brazil didn't overtake or overwhelm the US. Here's why. Howard was named best goalie of the tournament(a round of applause for him)because he made the craziest saves, even if it was from the foot of someone like Kaka or Robinho.

Donovan and Dempsey were a great pair. They threaded long balls to each other and usually made a goal happen. Dempsey had a beautiful far post volley in what I believe was the 27th minute, and by then I was thinking that Brazil should make their comeback soon.Of course, I knew that Brazil would comeback.

Now, Onyewu. Where to start? Onyewu had the most header clearences in the whole tournament and was marking Kaka basically the whole game. He and spector were a great defensive line.
